Buckeye Wellness is joining forces with Center for Stroke and Hand Recovery under the new name Center for Neurological Wellness. Located on Harper Road in Solon, OH, the Center for Neurological Wellness is a specialized fitness clinic that has been created to provide a continuation of care for people with physical or neurological limitations such as with Spinal Cord Injuries, Stroke, surgery, or chronic conditions.
With this new addition, they will be able to provide the option for rehabilitation therapy covered by most insurance plans with the option for a seamless transition into private pay fitness training when insurance benefits expire or for those with limited insurance options. Their clinic is well stocked with specialized equipment for easy wheelchair access including a RT300 FES system, Universal Gym, Matrix Cable System, PneuWeight Hydraulic Unweighting System and treadmill, whole body vibration, among others.
Open Monday through Friday from 8-5, they are a cash-based clinic providing hour-long One on One treatment sessions and/or General Gym memberships to maximize fitness levels and functional potential in addition to, or following, traditional Physical and Occupational Therapy services. General monthly accessible gym membership is available for those who are independent in their physical activity program.
